At petrol engines with electronic ignition the management block defines the moment of ignition on the basis of the characteristic of ignition stored in its memory. Synchronisation of work of system of ignition is carried out by signals which arrive in the block of management from the gauge of the Hall or the pulse gauge. Presence of antidetonation regulation provides profitability of work of the engine at high degree of compression and indemnification of distinction of characteristics of quality of fuel. The detonation gauge on the block of cylinders registers detonation occurrence at combustion of fuel and initiates the engine management block to displace ignition in a direction "late". Thus soft work of the engine and absence of its damage is provided with a detonation. Some engines have two detonation gauges on the block of cylinders.

Direct ignition

Petrol engines of 1.6 and 2.4 l have 2 or 3 coils of ignition located in one case with a target step on a head of cylinders. Each coil of ignition submits pressure on 2 spark plugs. For some engines are available 4, 6 or 8 coils of ignition located directly on spark plugs. In this case the ignition cable is absent.

External adjustment of the moment of ignition is not made. If the ignition moment deviates a preset value, it is necessary to replace the damaged elements.

The ignition system does not wear out and does not demand service. According to the maintenance service schedule it is required to replace spark plugs only.

Security measures at work with ignition and injection system

For an exception травмирования and-or system damages впрыскаи ignitions the following is necessary to observe people:

  • Do not concern and do not disconnect an ignition wire at the working engine or at the included starter.
  • Disconnect and attach pipelines of system of injection and an ignition wire, and also electric wires of devices of measurement only at the switched off ignition.
  • Do not allow to work with electronic system of ignition to people with a warm stimulator.
  • It is impossible to close the plug of 1 coils of ignition on weight.
  • At проворачивании the engine a starter, for example, at check of pressure of a compression switch off ignition and disunite a socket of the gauge of position of a cranked shaft.
  • Do not attach a control lamp to the plug of 1 coils of ignition.
